Meal in a jar - that's what they usually call smoothies, right?
Because yes, they pack so much energy and vitamins, that you really don't need to eat a breakfast after this.

To be honest, i have never posted a recipe on my blog on how i actually prepare my smoothies, even though i drink one daily, but today's an exception.
Let's just say that this heat has left me lifeless, more like a deflated balloon.

In this post you'll find out how to prepare a smoothie properly and one of my favorite recipes as well.

Mic dejun intr-un pahar - cam asta este denumirea neoficiala a unui smoothie, nu?
Pentru ca da, contin atat de multe vitamine si energie, ca nu mai ai nevoie de traditionalul mic dejun.

Sa fiu sincera, n-am postat niciodata o reteta pe blog desi, de cativa ani incoace, beau un pahar de smoothie in fiecare dimineata. Azi am facut o exceptie pentru ca am acceptat provocarea de la Vegis, si va voi arata cum va puteti prepara si voi un pahar de sanatate, sa-l beti in fiecare dimineata inainte sa va apucati de treaba. ~ HOW TO MAKE A SMOOTHIE ~
ENG:
We're all hearing smoothie here, smoothie there, OMG~ it's so delicious and so healthy, but HOW do i actually make one?! It's really important to know some basics and how to combine the ingredients so you won't have digestive problems. So be careful with that.

First of all, choose your type.
You have to know what type of smoothie you want, then choose your ingredients carefully, to obtain the proper results - loose weight, extra energy, or i-want-to-wake-up-in-the-morning type, etc.

Second, choose your fruits and/or vegetables - avocado, bananas, pineapples, berries, watermelon, peach, kale, spinach, carrots, etc

Third, choose a base - milk (soy, coconut, rice, almond), fruit juice, or green tea because it also has some caffeine, etc. The more juice your fruits/vegetables have, the less liquid you need to add.

Fourth, thicken up - you want your smoothie to be creamy as possible, so you need to add some chia seeds, yougurt, kefir, peanut butter, oats, beans, ice cubes etc.

Fifth, flavour it - sugar stevia, honey, vanilla extract, maple syrup, mint or cinnamon.

The last, but not least, add a power boost to your smoothie. It's not called "meal in a glass" for nothing, right? You can add a vial of fish oil, protein powder, probiotics, goji berries, spirulina/maca/acai/cocoa powder, etc.

Cu totii auzim mereu smoothie ici, smoothie colo, OMG~ cat de bun si sanatos este, bla bla bla, dar cum se face un borcan de-asta de mic dejun? Pentru ca da, este foarte important sa invatam sa amestecam ingredientele cu grija, ca sa nu avem mai incolo probleme cu degestia. Asa ca ciuliti urechile si faceti ochii cat cepele la ce va voi spune acum.

In primul rand, trebuie sa va alegeti ce tip de smoothie doriti.
Fie ca vreti sa slabiti, fie ca vreti mai multa energie sau pur si simplu, vreti sa va treziti dimineata fara sa va dati palme, este important sa faceti un pic de research inainte.

In al doilea rand, trebuie sa va alegeti fructele/legumele - avocado, banane, ananas, fructe de padure, pepene, piersici, varza kale (contine mult fier), spanac, morcovi, etc

In al treilea rand, baza - lapte (de soia, cocos, orez, migdale), compot, suc de fructe natural sau ceai. Eu folosesc ceai verde pentru ca are si putina cafeina.
Cu cat mai mult suc au fructele alese, cu atat mai putin lichid trebuie sa puneti.

In al patrulea rand, hai sa ne facem portia de smoothie cremoasa - folositi seminte de chia, iaurt grecesc (pentru ca este mai cremos si un pic sarat, iar asta pune in valoare mai bine gustul celorlalte ingrediente), chefir, unt de arahide, ovaz, cuburi de gheata, etc

In al cincilea rand, hai sa dam putina savoare retetei noastre - stevia, miere, extract de vanilie, sirop de artar, menta sau scortisoara.

Si nu in ultimul rand, cu totii cred ca avem nevoie de power boost. Ca doar nu se numeste "mic dejun intr-un pahar" degeaba, nu? Puteti adauga o capsula de ulei de peste, pudra de proteine, probiotice, fructe de goji, pudra de spirulina/maca/acai etc.

- peach
- coconut milk
- yogurt
- chia seeds
- vanilla extract
- goji berries
- fish oil
- i tablespoon of maca powder
- optionally ice cubes

Reteta mea de sanatate intr-un pahar:

- banana
- ananas
- piersica
- lapte de cocos
- iaurt
- miere
- extract de vanilie
- o capsula de ulei de peste
- o lingurita de maca publere ecologica
- optional cuburi de gheata
